To start off, showmars has a great menu selection, the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. I received my food quite fast, fresh and hot! Very friendly staff and great service! Will definitely go back again!

I visited this location at around 4:00 today, May 16th, 2025 and was greeted as soon as I came in the door by a very nice young man. My order was taken very quickly and the young man, Nicholas, was very personable and even recommended the sweet tea which was phenomenal! That young man deserves a raise!
this place is great! Staff and service was amazing making sure me and my family were taken care of. Pricing was reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall a very clean restaurant that I would recommend as the perfect lunch or dinner spot!
First time visiting, so I asked what the owner?/ Manager? standing near the counter would suggest. He said the fish sandwich is different than anybody in the area...he wasn't wrong. Great thick tartar sauce and lightly fried fish fillets made a fantastic sandwich. I also ordered the grilled squash and zucchini....... Another nice dish. My wife ate the chicken pita and was very happy. We both left full, but not bloated so it was a win win! We will definitely be back when on that side of town. If I could give more than 5 stars I would... Service was amazing from greeting at the door to the counter help and food delivery and table service..worth the trip
One word: delicious. The food is cooked to order. We took our seat & our food was brought out to us. You definitely get your money’s worth. I had the flounder & shrimp. It also came with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Soooo good!!!
I didn’t expect to walk into a counter service fast casual restaurant & walk out with a 5 review but here we are! The menu is perfect for a family with varied tastes- Greek isn’t the entirety. My mom had a fried shrimp platter. My spouse had a gyro platter and I had the salmon platter. My salmon was perfectly cooked and served on a bed of (saffron?) rice. It was served with warm pita bread and tzatziki. I choose a Greek salad as well. The tzatziki wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The salad had large ribs of romaine in it and for that reason I wouldn’t order it again. Just a personal preference as I don’t like romaine ribs. Their iced tea was really good as it should be if your motto includes “ southern” . The service was outstanding and I’m fairly critical of customer service. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, were spotless. Showmars is a definite return for me. Tip: if you’re cold natured be ready. We were freezing. There’s outdoor dining as well.
We've been wanting to try this place for a while now. Initially, I was confused regarding the concept. There's an interesting mix of offerings. Greek along with burgers as well as seafood. It's hard to find a really good fish sandwich. Well, this is the best one that I've found in Lexington. Thin slices of fish freshly breaded, fried, and stacked on a soft roll. Add the haberno tarter sauce and it's awesome. I had a side Greek salad and sweet tea. My wife had a gyro that was fresh and tasty. Generous meat portion. Very friendly staff. Clean restaurant. We'll be back to try some other items. Just tried the chili pita burger. Great!
